OPSOL was established in 2002 as an electronics company outsourcing and manufacturing electronic products. We also offer a design for manufacture service.

We use a variety of manufacturing processes including surface mount assembly, through hole assembly both automatic and manual, flow soldering and hand soldering. We have a good mix of automation and manual assembly ensuring a quality product is supplied whilst minimizing the manufacturing cycle time.

Products we manufacture include domestic heating systems, power supplies, security cameras and lights, nurse alarms, door entry panels, keyboards, medical testing equipment and various devices used in the automotive industries.

The electronic assembly process can be a very delicate process with storage, handling and processing of materials being key. This is recognised by Opsol, with all operators gaining an NVQ Level 2 in PCB Assembly & Repair, thus ensuring that all manufactured products are to a very high quality standard. All employees and automated processes are fitted with anti-static protection devices.

Since 2008 OPSOL have gained accreditation to ISO9001-2008. As part of the business development plan we also invested £500,000 in manufacturing equipment while relocating into a world class manufacturing facility.
